AVORA Horizon Zero Gravity Chair
There's a point in the afternoon when the light goes long and there's nothing left to do. This is the chair for that hour. You tip it back, the footrest comes up level with your chest, and the garden looks different from there.
In everyday use
It opens out of the folded position in a few seconds — no assembly, no tools, no fittings to lose. The backrest moves through anything from upright at 90° to nearly flat at 170°, and the lever on the armrest locks it wherever you stop. Padding runs the full length in one piece, from the headrest down over the footrest, and it lifts off completely when you want the mesh sling underneath instead. The headrest pillow slides on its strap to sit where your neck actually is. A tray clips off the left armrest with a cup recess and a slot for a phone. Folded, it's under five inches thick and stands against a wall or lies flat in a car.

Why we chose it
Most zero-gravity chairs are a frame and a stretched sling — fine for an hour, less so for an afternoon. We wanted one you'd actually stay in. The full-length cushion is the reason this one is here: it turns a piece of outdoor equipment into something closer to a chair from the living room, and because it lifts straight off, you get the cooler sling version back on the days the padding would be too much. The rest follows the same idea. Legs in square tube rather than round, a headrest that moves to you rather than the other way around, and a fold flat enough that none of it costs you the garage.
