Avora Basecamp Air Shelter
AVORA Basecamp Air Shelter
You pull into the site with an hour of light left. There are no poles to sort, no sleeves to thread — you unroll it, work the pump for five minutes, and stand up a room with a door and four windows. Then you go and look at the view.
In everyday use
Sixty-two square feet is the difference between sleeping somewhere and staying somewhere. Three adults can lie down in it, or seven can sit around a table when the weather turns and everyone wants to be inside the same space. The mesh windows are big and square-paned, so mornings are bright rather than dim, and every one of them has a flap you can drop for privacy or for shade in the afternoon. Packing up is the part people notice most: one minute to deflate, and it's back in the bag.
What sets it apart
Up in five minutes, down in one
The frame is inflatable, so setup is one person on a hand pump instead of two people and a pole diagram. The pump is in the box.
A room-sized 62 sq ft
Enough floor for three to sleep or seven to sit, with a 31.5" wide door you walk through rather than crawl.
Screened windows with privacy flaps
Every window and door is meshed for airflow, and every one has its own flap you can close.
420D Oxford cover, rated 3000 mm
The canopy is water-resistant to 3000 mm and rated UPF50+, so a bright afternoon or a passing shower is handled.
Waterproof 420G floor
The floor sheet is heavier than the walls and blocks ground moisture, which is what actually keeps a night comfortable.
Wind protection level 4
Guy ropes and ground stakes are included to pin it down properly.
Why we chose it
Most tents this size ask for two people, twenty minutes and a diagram. This one asks for a pump. That changes what a trip feels like — arriving late stops being a problem, and a single night somewhere becomes worth the drive. The cabin shape is doing real work too: straight walls and a 59" doorway mean you stand up and move around rather than shuffle. In sand canvas with its square window panes, it looks less like equipment and more like a small building you happen to have brought with you. Worth knowing before you buy: it's built for weather, not for sitting out a prolonged downpour.
