AVORA Firewood Storage Rack
The wood arrives in one heap in October and you spend the rest of the winter working out where to put it. This is the answer: a long black rack along the wall, the stack off the ground, the top covered, and a dry armful whenever you want one.
In everyday use
It runs nearly thirteen feet, so a delivery goes up in a single row rather than three piles in three places. The stacking bar sits 5.5 inches clear of the ground, which keeps the bottom course off wet paving and lets air move underneath. The cover drops over the top of the stack and closes with a zip and hook-and-loop straps, and it slides down as the pile shrinks, so the wood stays covered in February the way it was in November. The face of the stack stays open, which is the point: you take wood from the front without unwrapping anything.

Why we chose it
A firewood rack is judged in the third month, not the first. What matters is whether the wood at the bottom is still dry, whether the cover has torn, and whether you still take wood from it happily in the rain. We chose this one for the raised stacking bar and the adjustable cover — two unglamorous decisions that decide all three. The size is deliberate too: at thirteen feet it takes a whole delivery, which means one job in autumn instead of a running one all winter.
