AVORA Ember Grill Tongs
Three tongs that live as one. The long pair for the salad bowl, the middle pair for the bread board, the small pair for the things that need picking up one at a time — and when the table is cleared they stack back into each other and take up the space of a single utensil.
In everyday use
They work the way a good pair of tongs should: one light squeeze, wide open, and a soft close. Each is a single sprung arm rather than a hinged pair, so there is no rivet to loosen and nothing to catch. The tips are flat and tapered, which is what lets the smallest pair lift one cherry tomato and the largest pair move a fistful of leaves without crushing them. The long handles keep your hand clear of the bowl. Nested together, the set slides into a drawer as one piece.

Why we chose it
Most kitchen drawers hold three pairs of tongs from three different years, all slightly wrong for the job in hand. A nesting set solves that with less rather than more: the same tool in three scales, stored as one. We chose these for the construction as much as the idea — a single sprung arm has nothing to seize up, which is usually where a cheap pair of tongs fails first.
