Why we chose it

Camp kettles usually go one of two ways — a thin, packable thing that boils a mug, or a heavy pot that only makes sense once the truck is unloaded. This one sits between the two. It holds enough for everyone, weighs 394 g, and has the squat, wide-shouldered shape that makes it steady on a burner head barely wider than a fist. It's also good-looking enough to leave on the stove at home, which is the real test of a piece of camp cookware.
