My old patio chair was a rigid object that sat upright and judged my posture. The Horizon is the opposite: it lets me lie back until the sky is the main thing in view.
It arrived with no assembly, so the whole setup was unfolding it and sitting down. The recline runs from 90° to 170° and locks at any angle, so I found my spot instead of picking from three clunky notches. The full-length cushion is thick and tufted, the mesh seat underneath keeps things breathable, and the padded headrest pillow on its strap slides to wherever my neck wants it. The side tray holds a mug in its cup recess with a slot for my phone, which means I no longer balance a drink on my stomach like a tightrope act.
The maker states a 440 lb capacity, and the frame feels planted when I lean back. The elastic cords on both sides give it a gentle, floaty bounce.
It collapses to about 4.9" thick, so it tucks behind a door or into a car boot easily.
At nearly 19 lb and 60.72" long when open, it's more of a patio chair than a carry-anywhere one, and the side tray is small, so it's good for a mug and a phone but not a full snack setup.
So comfortable, quick to set up, and dangerously good for doing nothing.
