In everyday use

It runs 78.7 inches along a wall, which is a real sofa rather than a bench with cushions on it — three seats across, a 70.9-inch seat, and full-height woven arms at both ends. The seat sits low at 12.6 inches with a 5.9-inch back cushion behind it, so the posture is reclined rather than upright. Everything is cushioned, arms included, and every cover unzips. Two bolster pillows sit in the corners. The base is solid to the ground on adjustable pads, so it settles on uneven paving without rocking. It arrives flat and needs assembling.

Why we chose it

The test for outdoor seating is whether anyone stays on it after the food is finished. Depth is what decides that, and this one has it — a 25.6-inch seat, a low 12.6-inch seat height, and a back cushion thick enough to lean into. We chose it in the wide three-seat form for a specific reason: two chairs and a loveseat make people sit in an arrangement, while one long sofa lets them sit however they like. The grey weave keeps it quiet, and the navy does the talking.
