AVORA Ember Dual Camp Cooker

Two pots on at once, somewhere that was never meant to have a kitchen. The cabin with one socket and no stove. The garage on a long weekend. The corner of the porch in August, when the last thing you want is the oven on indoors.

In everyday use

Set it down, plug it in, turn both knobs. One 6-inch coil takes a stockpot, the other takes a full-size frying pan, and the handles clear each other — so the soup can sit at a simmer while something browns beside it. Each plate has its own knob and its own indicator light, and each runs on 1000 W, so the second one isn't a compromise. The light tells you what the thermostat is doing: out at temperature, back on as it drops. It runs on mains power, so it belongs where there's a socket — a powered site, a cabin, a workshop, a second kitchen.

What sets it apart

Two plates, 1000 W each
Both burners run at full power at the same time, so the second one is a real cooking surface rather than a place to keep something warm.

Five settings per plate
The knob runs OFF through 1 to 5 and each plate is set independently — one holding, one working.

A stated range for each job
1–2 sits between 302 °F and 500 °F for holding, 3–4 covers 698 °F to 842 °F for frying, and 5 goes up to 1022 °F.

Thermostat you can read
The indicator light goes out when the plate reaches your setting and comes back on when it drops, so a glance tells you where the heat is.

6-inch coils
Both plates are φ6 in, sized for standard pans rather than for the single small pot most portable burners assume.

Sits where you put it
Anti-skid feet and a low, flat body — it stays put on a worktop, a table or a tailgate.

Why we chose it

A second cooking surface changes how a place works. It's the difference between a cabin you can cook a meal in and one you heat a tin in, between hosting on the porch and running back and forth to the kitchen. We chose this one because it doesn't ration the second plate — most twin burners give you one real ring and one afterthought, and this gives you two at 1000 W. It needs a socket, which we'd rather say plainly than dress up. Given one, it's a full stove that lives in a cupboard.
